This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information (“Personal Data”) in connection with the Site and our business communications.

B2B Approach: The Services are aimed at business clients and prospective clients. When this Policy refers to “you”, it typically refers to individuals acting as business representatives (e.g., employees, contractors, or agents of a company), and not in a purely personal, family, or domestic capacity.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We do not knowingly request sensitive data (e.g., health, biometrics, ideology, etc.). If you include them in your message, we may process them only to the extent necessary to handle your request.

B. Data We Collect Automatically (Site Use)

When you visit or interact with the Site, we may automatically collect:

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type/settings, date/time, pages visited, referral URL, basic navigation events.
  • Device Data: OS, language, technical identifiers, and device characteristics.
  • Usage Data: interaction with Site sections (e.g., clicks, scroll, dwell times) in aggregated or pseudonymized form, where possible.

C. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including consent management tools (CMP) like CookieYes, to operate the Site, keep it secure, measure its usage (e.g., Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), and measure advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads Conversion Tracking and LinkedIn Insight Tag). When required by law, we will request your consent before activating non-essential cookies or technologies (analytics and marketing/remarketing).

You can manage cookies from your browser settings or through the Site's consent banner (if applicable). If you disable cookies, some Site functions may not operate correctly.

D. Social Media Interactions

We may maintain a presence on social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube). If you interact with our profiles, we may receive data you decide to share (e.g., username, messages). Additionally, platforms may provide us with aggregated metrics.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We use Personal Data to:

  • Respond to inquiries and manage business communications.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and scope of services.
  • Provide and manage Services (including support, operational continuity, and improvements).
  • Operate, protect, and improve the Site (security, fraud prevention, and abuse).
  • Internal analytics to understand demand and improve content/experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to regulatory or judicial requirements.
  • Reasonable B2B marketing (e.g., sending information about relevant services). You can request to stop receiving commercial communications at any time.

4. Legal Basis (When Applicable)

Depending on the jurisdiction and context, our processing may be based on:

  • Consent (e.g., when you submit a form or request contact).
  • Pre-contractual measures and contractual execution (e.g., preparing and executing a service).
  • Legitimate interest (e.g., Site security, fraud prevention, reasonable B2B marketing).
  • Legal obligation (e.g., accounting, tax obligations, or competent authority requirements).

5. Aggregated Information

We may aggregate Personal Data and use aggregated information to analyze the effectiveness of the Site/Services, improve and add features, and for similar purposes. We may also share aggregated statistics that do not identify individuals.

6. Marketing

We may send you promotional communications, including mass email campaigns, related to our Services, based on your consent (where applicable) or our legitimate interest (in B2B contexts where applicable).

You may opt-out of receiving these emails by following the unsubscribe link included in each message or by writing to contacto@techbuzzo.com. If you request to unsubscribe, we will keep a minimal record on a "suppression list" to ensure we respect your decision in the future.

If you unsubscribe, we may still contact you for non-promotional reasons (e.g., to respond to requests or for administrative/operational reasons linked to an existing business relationship).

7. Sharing and Disclosing Personal Data

In certain circumstances, we may share your Personal Data with third parties without prior notice, unless required by law, as set forth below:

A. Vendors (Processors/Sub-processors)

To help us operate the Site and business, we may share Personal Data with third-party providers and services, including hosting providers, cloud services, storage, security, IT services, communication tools (email/calendar/meetings), CRM, customer support, marketing services, payment processors (if applicable), and web analytics services.

Non-exhaustive list of examples of providers we may use:

  • DigitalOcean (hosting and infrastructure).
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, Google Workspace).
  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, if applicable).
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp as a communication channel; we do not use Meta Pixel for advertising on this Site unless otherwise notified).

These parties will access, process, or store Personal Data solely to perform functions on our behalf, in accordance with our instructions and with reasonable security and confidentiality measures.

No Sale of Data: We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties for monetary consideration. However, if we use ad measurement technologies (like Google Ads or LinkedIn), identifiers and interaction data may be shared with such platforms for measurement, attribution, and remarketing purposes (when enabled), subject to your consents and settings.

B. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to: (i) comply with a legal obligation or valid order, including national security or law enforcement requirements; (ii) protect and defend our rights or property; (iii) prevent fraud or abuse; (iv) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public; or (v) protect against legal liability.

C. Corporate Operations

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this Policy and/or additional notices where appropriate.

8. Client and Project Data (Professional Services)

In consulting, development, or support projects, we may receive or access data that a business client provides or makes available to us (e.g., data included in tickets, logs, documentation, or client systems).

In those cases:

  • The client is usually the Controller of that data.
  • TechBuzzo acts as Processor/Provider and processes such data according to contractual instructions, confidentiality obligations, and (where appropriate) a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

9. International Transfers

Our providers or infrastructure may be located in different countries. If we transfer Personal Data internationally, we will apply reasonable safeguards and/or applicable legal bases depending on the jurisdiction (e.g., contractual agreements, technical and organizational measures, minimization, and access controls).

10. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for the time reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, while there is a legitimate business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, accounting, or other purposes), whichever is longer.

11. Updating or Correcting Information

You may request the update or correction of your Personal Data by contacting us at contacto@techbuzzo.com.

12. Children

The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13. TechBuzzo does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us and we will take reasonable measures to delete that information.

13. Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by TechBuzzo (“Third-Party Sites”). The information you share with Third-Party Sites is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We provide links only for convenience and this does not imply endorsement or review of such sites.

14. Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect Personal Data both online and offline. However, no Internet or email transmission is completely secure. You should take special care when deciding what information you send us via the Site or email. We are not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site or third-party sites, notwithstanding what may be established in specific business agreements with clients.

15. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request: access, correction, update, deletion, opposition or limitation of processing, and portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.

Regarding interest-based advertising and ad measurement, you can manage your preferences through your browser settings, ad-blocking tools, the Site's consent management tool (CMP) (if available, like CookieYes), or by contacting us.

To exercise rights, contact us at contacto@techbuzzo.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and/or your status as an authorized representative.

Also, in certain circumstances providing Personal Data is optional. However, if you decide not to provide Personal Data necessary to use certain Site functions or to handle a request, we may not be able to address it adequately.

Some U.S. state laws or other local regulations may grant specific additional rights to residents of those jurisdictions.

16. Cookies, Online Tracking, and “Do Not Track” Signals

The Site may use cookies or other tracking technologies, as described in this Policy. Some browsers allow sending “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals. Currently, the Site may not respond to DNT signals uniformly. If we implement DNT response in the future, we will update this Policy to describe how we do it.

Cookie Preferences: In most web browsers, there is a help section to manage cookies. If you limit cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Site or benefit from all its functionality.

17. Analytics (Web Analytics)

We may use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or others) to understand Site usage and improve the experience. These tools may use cookies or other measurement technologies. Data processing by these providers may be subject to their policies.

18. reCAPTCHA and Anti-Abuse Measures

The Site may be protected by reCAPTCHA or other anti-abuse measures. In those cases, the privacy policies and terms of the corresponding provider may apply (e.g., Google reCAPTCHA).

19. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may modify this Policy at any time. When we do, we will post an updated version on this page with the “Last updated” date, unless applicable law requires another type of notice. By continuing to use the Site after the publication of changes, you agree to the updated Policy.
